The room was super clean, well-furnished, and even had a washer and dryer. The location in the cute village of Lucker was peaceful and convenient for visiting nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and cute, even giving us a bottle of wine and biscuits as a welcome gift. Plus, the free one-hour pass to the spa and pool was a fantastic bonus.

The food for breakfast could be improved.

Arrived to a beautiful studio with a huge, comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean with high quality welcome pack and powerful shower. Well-fitted kitchen with everything you need. Attention to detail and comfort sets this place apart. Small grassed area for dogs and a drink. Great location for visiting attractions. Free swim/spa hour was fabulous.

    Everything was spot on.

The cottage is in a convenient location, with easy access to local amenities. the property is modern, clean, and well-equipped, making it a comfortable stay. the self-catering facilities, including a washing machine and tumble dryer, are convenient , particularly in wet weather. the cottage offers privacy and a peaceful atmosphere, and the shower is excellent.

The outdoor furniture could use an upgrade as it is uncomfortable and worn.

If you're looking to immerse yourself in nature, Avocet Cottage is the perfect choice. the quiet and rural location offers a peaceful retreat away from the busy coastal areas. the modern yet traditional features, such as the beamed roof and fireplace, give the property a cozy and inviting atmosphere. the friendly and accommodating staff ensure a comfortable stay, with well-furnished rooms and modern facilities.

One minor inconvenience was the oven's touchscreen, which proved challenging to operate for some guests.

The value for money at Avocet Cottage was excellent. The room was comfortable and well-furnished, exceeding our expectations. The staff were accommodating and kind, and the location was easy to find. The Apple Inn, which welcomed our dog Monty, was a must-visit for delicious food.

The breakfast option could have been improved with more variety and simpler choices.

We had a fantastic time at Avocet Cottage, it was the perfect anniversary treat! The cottage was exceptionally clean and had a beautiful, modern design. We loved the high ceilings and the little extra touches like the complimentary wine and biscuits. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the towels were thick and soft. The kitchen was well-equipped, although we did wish there was a draining plate/cutlery holder. The bathroom was a bit tight, with no space to put our things, and we couldn't figure out how to get the fan and mirror light working. It would have been helpful to have a tour of the room upon arrival to familiarize ourselves with the amenities. Also, the outdoor furniture was a bit uncomfortable and worn. However, the location was amazing, and we enjoyed the nearby gastropub and the opportunity to explore the area. we had a wonderful stay at Avocet Cottage and would highly recommend it.

The cottage was well-equipped and beautifully clean, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We even had a great pub just a few steps away. The attention to detail and comfort for guests was impressive, from the high-quality welcome pack to the comfortable bed and sofa. We also appreciated the small grassed area outside where we could relax with our dogs. it was a fantastic experience, and we look forward to returning to this beautiful part of the UK and staying with Stablewood properties again.
