The room was super clean, well-furnished, and even had a washer and dryer. The location in the cute village of Lucker was peaceful and convenient for visiting nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and cute, even giving us a bottle of wine and biscuits as a welcome gift. Plus, the free one-hour pass to the spa and pool was a fantastic bonus.
The food for breakfast could be improved.

We had a fantastic time at Avocet Cottage, it was the perfect anniversary treat! The cottage was exceptionally clean and had a beautiful, modern design. We loved the high ceilings and the little extra touches like the complimentary wine and biscuits. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the towels were thick and soft. The kitchen was well-equipped, although we did wish there was a draining plate/cutlery holder. The bathroom was a bit tight, with no space to put our things, and we couldn't figure out how to get the fan and mirror light working. It would have been helpful to have a tour of the room upon arrival to familiarize ourselves with the amenities. Also, the outdoor furniture was a bit uncomfortable and worn. However, the location was amazing, and we enjoyed the nearby gastropub and the opportunity to explore the area. we had a wonderful stay at Avocet Cottage and would highly recommend it.
